Hi everyone, my name is Scott. I'm the organizer of NSC. A bit about me, grew up in Illinois, moved to ATL in 2013 and got into the fixed gear scene around that time. Red Hook Crit was the biggest race at the time for fixed gear riders. I always wanted to race RHC, but was never there physically or financially. Flash forward a couple years and I got married, moved to Chattanooga and had two kids. I don't ride fixed as much, have moved to gravel and MTB, but FG will always have a soft spot in my heart. I started thinking about RHC again and found out they haven't hosted an event since 2019. I figured there was a hole in the market for this type of race. I am by no means an event planner or race director, but I love fixed gear bikes and watching races. With Chattanooga already flush with cyclists and the Ironman, I hope to draw some of those athletes to this event as well as anyone that rides fixed or has in the past. The goal for this to be a fun event for riders but also to be competitive. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
